⚙️ Plot Overview

• Lou is a rookie paramedic, starting her service in a city in chaos (riots, unrest).

• A masked serial killer begins targeting people during the chaos. He wears a mask that resembles Michelangelo’s David. Victims are found in gruesome conditions with Latin phrases written in blood.

• Lou has knowledge of Latin, which becomes key in deciphering the killer’s messages. She works with Detective Stan Russo. She also has a personal connection: a tragic event in her childhood involving her father and corrupt officers, a fire that killed his wife and child. The killer turns out to be someone she thought was dead.

• In the climax, there’s a confrontation with the killer. Lou’s father is killed. Lou eventually confronts and kills the killer. At the very end, even though the killer appears defeated (burned), his eyes are open in the body bag hinting at some ambiguity.
