Plot: After the first massacre in 1974, the townspeople suspected that the Sawyer family were responsible. A vigilante mob of enraged locals surrounded the Sawyer house, burning it to the ground and killing every last member of the family. Decades later, a young woman named Heather learns that she has inherited a Texas estate from her grandmother. She decides to bring her friends along on the road trip to investigate her inheritance. Plot:

The film begins right after the events of the 1974 massacre, with the Sawyer family being attacked by enraged townsfolk. Decades later, a young woman named Heather Miller discovers that she has inherited a mansion in Texas from a grandmother she never knew she had. She and her friends travel there, unaware that the house holds a horrifying secret: Leatherface (Jedidiah “Jed” Sawyer) is still alive, lurking in the basement.

As the group is killed off one by one, Heather eventually learns that she is actually a Sawyer by blood. Confronted with her family’s dark legacy, she must decide whether to embrace her lineage and side with Leatherface or reject it.
